Damodar Inter College was established in 1932 as Damodar Memorial High School by The Holipura Chaturvedi Charitable Endowment Trust. Class 10th was recognized by The Secretary, Board of High School and Intermediate Education, United Provinces, in July 1948. The High School was later upgraded to an Intermediate (12th Class) college and duly recognized in October 1962. It was renamed as Damodar Inter College.The Holipura Chaturvedi Charitable Endowment Trust was established in 1936 and run by the Chaturvedi family from Holipura. The family traces back their ancestry to Shri Baba Holisingh Chaturvedi, who founded the village more than 500 years ago.
Spread over 17.5 acres of land,The college was established as a self-contained educational institution with Eleven class rooms,Auditorium,hostel,Library,Hospital,Faculty Residence and Five playgrounds for Badminton,Volleyball,Football,Hockey and Aethletics.Today, it is a co-educational institution offering education between class 6 and 12. It has a currents strength of 21 faculty members representing Science,Commerce,Humanities and Fine Arts. More than 700 students are currently enrolled in the college with 20% of them being girls. The medium of instruction is Hindi. The college is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Madyamik Shiksha Parishad and is a Uttar Pradesh Government aided institution.

The college celebrated Founder's Day on October 22,2022.Mr.Ramakant Sharma, Principal started the function by paying his respects to Shri Damodar Chaubey on behalf of the college faculty and students (photo-1).This was followed by a prayer ceremony (photo-2).
A program to Motivate Differently abled children between the ages of 6-18 years was organized on September 17,2022

on Achieving Life's Goals in wake of disabilities, Question and Answer session with the parents (photo-3) followed by certification
and distribution of aids for the differently abled children.This program was made possible with the collaboration of the
Departments of Education, Health, Development, Empowerment of the Disabled and UNICEF. This event was covered by local media extensively.

The college Main Gate serves as the main entry to the college campus.A new gate was constructed to give direct access to the college auditorium
Suniti Smarak Bhavan is the college Auditorium.It was established by Late Sharda Charan Chaturvedi in memory of his Late wife,Suniti Chaturvedi.A befiting tribute which has long served the college, each passing day.This Auditorium has balcony seating, a stage and houses film projection equipment.

The Computer Lab is equipped with 5 computers, a Local Area Network and a provision for Un-interrupted power supply. More computers are due to be added.The college is duly authorized to offer Computer Science since 2013.
The Chaubey Ganga Prasad Library is the college Library.The Library is equipped with a large central reading table which can accomodate 15 students at a time.
Inside The Chaubey Ganga Prasad Library. The library also serves as a meeting room for staff meetings as and when required.
Rajendra Hostel is the on campus hostel.It was established in the day and age ,when the entire region had only a handful of colleges and students would travel from afar to complete their education. The Hostel has 20 rooms an attached mess and a Hotel lawn.
The Physics & Chemistry Lab Block was established to conduct experiments for High School students. This block also has a provision for a Guest House to host visiting faculty and students from outside the village. This block has class rooms that has lecture theatres with stepped seating.
The Senior Science Lab Block is used to conduct experiments for Intermediate School (Class12) students.
Damodar Inter College Campus Hospital was established to serve the needs of the Students and the Village inhabitants, alike.It was the precusor to the Primary Health Centre network that was established in post independence, India.The facility was set up as a 14-bed hospital that was equipped with medical equipment, imported from Europe.It saw services rendered by British doctors in its early days, after its inception. A new Primary Health Care Centre has been established recently.

The Principal's Residence is an on-campus facility in the college. This is currently under renovation.
The college campus, in addition to the Principal's Residence also has Faculty Quarters. Some of the current faculty members stay in these quarters.
Holipura has been declared as a Heritage Village by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This combined with the rich legacy of the college is attracting curious visitors and celebreties alike. Here we see the critically acclaimed Bollywood film personality, Mr.Ashutosh Rana (Centre) planting a tree on campus,during a film shoot in Oct 2021.
The college has been at the forefront of being a part of social activities.The Corona pandemic presented yet another opportunity, which saw the college campus being used for Vaccination drives.
Reach Damodar Inter College,Holipura is a prominent landmark in Holipura and falls on the main road connecting Holipura and the Agra- Bah highway (State Highway No.62).The college is about 64 km from Agra city through this route.One can reach the college by taking the diversion towards Bah at Nagla Rama,on the Agra-Lucknow Express way,when driving from Agra towards Lucknow.The distance through this route is 84 km.
