Shri Jayendra Nath Chaturvedi completed his class 12th from the college in 1944. He was the first Commissioner of Delhi Police from July 1978 to January 1980.He served as the Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and was the Director General of Uttar Pradesh Police between April and September of 1985.A 1951-batch Indian Police Service officer, he was highly regarded both by his peers and subordinates.
